Unusual: But not unusual enough for alarm.  Your daughter should have been under a dentist's care by age 1, preferably a qualified pediatric  dentist, a specialist in growth and development of children's teeth an jaws.  Please take her for an evaluation, check=up, cleaning, sealants, hygiene instruction, Fluoride recommendations, etc, as well as to find out when her 3 year molars will erupt.

my 3 year old son had an exposure  with bat 11 days back, till now he had three shots of rabies vaccine.  is he safe now and is he started to have antibodies? no symptoms  as of now?

my three year old has had diarrhea for almost a month but without any other symptoms or change in diet. is this something to be concerned about? tks

CHRONIC DIARRHEA....: Most of the diarrhea are viral origin, no blood in stool, not much cramp or fever, resolves by an week or so. If longer, your child need to have an exam, test to find out the cause. Check with the child's pediatrician. By the time, give her pedialyte for each diarrhea, some yogurt, bananna, rice, applesauce, toast, etc.

Gastroenteritis: If she is vomiting yellow but acting normally, no fever, irritability,or diarrhea she is most likely suffering from gastroenteritis. This is usually viral and self limited, ending in the vomiting going away and some diarrhea. Try to keep her hydrated with small, frequent amounts of gatorade or other electrolyte drinks. If she becomes very sleepy or can keep NOTHING down, she needs to see someone.

Antihistamine: Start treatment for allergies with an allergy pill.  Claritin (loratadine) or zyrtec works well and lasts 24 hours.  Try it for a couple of weeks.  If it helps, then keep giving it.  If it doesn't help, then see a doctor for help.

Any rash?: if there is a rash then it is likely a virus. there are amny viruses going around this time of year. any other symptoms? tummy pain, nausea, vomiting. try tylenol (acetaminophen) or motrin. if it still persists and additional symptoms arise see your pediatrician.

Allergies: If it is really 2 1/2 months straight without any break in the symptoms at all, it's not likely that it was "colds" but rather allergies. These could be to foods or environmental exposures. A good history and exam by her pediatrician or family physician can differentiate the two, and then appropriate treatment can be initiated.

Fever without signs: Moe than likely a viral illness. At this time of year viral illnesses are rampant. If after 24-36 hours he is still febrile, see your pediatrician.

Vomiting: Maybe your daughter just ate too much or the vomiting may signal a brewing infection. Although less frequent at her age, make sure she did not ingest anything poisonous- medicines, household cleaning items, plants with or without berries to name just a few.
