Follow it: 1 mm sounds very small and non threatening. Recommend repeat study in 3 months and then annually if not enlarging. Doubtful that something that size is causing headaches, visual or endocrine problems.

The vast: majority of time this turns out to be a kidney cyst, which is benign and of no particular significance.  However, you may need another test, such as a renal ultrasound, to prove it.

MRI review: There are many possible causes of a very small hyperintense focus on an MRI, but they are unlikely to be the source of your blurred vision. Review of the image is needed to describe what that finding could represent.

what does "t1 and t2 hyperintense focus at l1 vertebral segment" suggest (from mri reading)? have pain, muscle spasms, hard tissue in low back/gluteal

May be inflammation: Hyper intensity my indicate inflammation or a hemangioma. Tough to say without looking at the images.  I would see a spine specialist and get an opinion.  The gluteal area is well below l1. So I do not believe those symptoms are related.

From: Migraines, to nothing important, to a small clot. In case of lupus you must have full criteria and have active disease. Coagulation issues may also be seen, see a rheumatologists and good luck!

: Ask your physician about a blood test for prolactin, which is elevated with enlarging pituitary tumors, then see a neurosurgeon if prolactin levels are highly elevated.
