A 29-year-old female asked:
What does "t1 and t2 hyperintense focus at l1 vertebral segment" suggest (from mri reading)? have pain, muscle spasms, hard tissue in low back/gluteal

May be inflammation: Hyper intensity my indicate inflammation or a hemangioma. Tough to say without looking at the images. I would see a spine specialist and get an opinion. The gluteal area is well below l1. So I do not believe those symptoms are related.
