I just received the report from my latest spinal mri. it picked up a 1.5 cm t2 hyperintense focus on my right kidney. should i be concerned?

The vast: majority of time this turns out to be a kidney cyst, which is benign and of no particular significance. However, you may need another test, such as a renal ultrasound, to prove it.
