Not your fault.: I do not know the whole story, but it would be highly unlikely that anything you might have done could have caused the premature membrane rupture. Before you try for pregnancy again, meet with a maternal fetal medicine specialists so they can review your story in detail.

Yes.  Maybe.  : Back pain, joint pain, thigh and calf pain are common.   You can have pain from swelling of the hands - carpal tunnel like.  Make sure your doctor follows you blood pressures.

Warm compress: You actually could take certain medications; however you could try warm compress to help the inflammation come to a head quickly or dissipate the inflammation. It is also important to get enough rest and healthy nutritious food to improve you  immune response to infection.

Little spots of bloo: coming from where? is it from your genital tract (vagina) ? or from your respiratory tract (nose or mouth)? if the former, kindly see your obstetrician, if from the latter, saline nasal washes, and salt water gargles would help, together with OTC cough meds, but use with caution and read the labels carefully, hydrate yourself well, if no improvement, see your doctor, wish you a healthy pregnancy

what mediccation can i take whhen i have a cold and congestion, and i'm 23 weeks pregnant?

Mucinex DM & Tylenol (acetaminophen): Congestion can be treated with Pseudoephedrine or phenylephrine along with guaifenesin.  Dextromethorphan can help as a cough suppressant.  Tylenol (acetaminophen) is safe for aches and fever.  Pregnant women should be careful of medication with multiple ingredients such as nyquil which is 10% alcohol which should be avoided in pregnancy.

If a couple has been having a perfectly normal pregnancy and a realistic view of life, then traveling with wisdom and common sense should be fine.
