is the documentary "what the health" true? will a plant-based diet be beneficial to my 1 year old and 2 yr old kids? they still drink milk from bottle so thinking of going vegetarian instead of vegan. current diet consists of rice, meat & veggies.

Be cautious: A vegetarian lifestyle is fine for those who grow up with it &amp; know how to supplement the areas where common vitamin needs are met. Just deciding to do so for a kid at any age can deprive them of important nutrients that will make them sick. If this is your goal meet with a clinical nutritionist to learn what you need to do to avoid these issues. The bottle needs to stop now anyway.

Viral: I am not clear why the antibiotics which are not useful or indicated for viral infections. He probably has coxsackie virus which will resolve on its own. Give him cool liquids, nothing spicy, soft foods and lots of fluids.

Hmmm....: A 2 year-old isn't going to cooperate much, so it's time for some detective work. If refusing food and drink for 4 days, her weight should have dropped and she should be weak. If not drinking even when hungry, such as first thing each morning, then something is wrong. May need an exam under anesthesia. A home video of her mouth movements may help the doctors.
