doctor prescribed spironolactone 50 mg  for my acne and i been taking it for about 5 months and a few days ago i find out i am 11 weeks pregnant which i find out you should not be pregnant on this medication, would this pregnancy be safe to have ?

These range from A=safest to X=never safe.This is a category C drug meaning there is no clear data showing harm but not enough research to assign a safer rating. It is common to use when the benefits outweigh risk. I would discuss this with your OB.

what drugs am i supposed to take during this time of pregnancy? i'm 11 weeks pregnant

The only things you: should be taking regularly is prenatal vitamins and if you are anemic, iron.  There should not be any other foreign substances going in your body, other than healthy foods.  You certainly should not drink any alcohol products or smoke cigarettes, nor should you use any tobacco products.  Have a wonderful pregnancy and congratulations.  Please make sure to have a great relationship with your OB doc

is there any madication i can take for nausea... i'm 11 weeks pregnant?

Nausea: There are many treatment options for nausea during pregnancy, some are prescription medicines while others can be otc meds. It is best to speak with your doctor to determine the best option for you.

i am pregnant (1st trimester), have not been properly diagnosed. but do have some med training. best i can figure i suffer from an advanced stage (4) of fibro myalgia. i do not wish to take pharmaceutical drugs. how should i be treated?

: Make certain you blood potassium is normal. Patients with this due to primary aldosteronism and low K are often miss- diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Discuss with your Dr. Can also have high blood pressure problems during preg.  Discuss.

Low risk: This value is considered low risk. Keep in mind this test is not perfect. It can be false both ways.  If the value is far higher than this, further testing would be in order. Also, the woman's age is a factor here too.

is it ok to sleep on back if 11 weeks pregnant.? when should i switch to side?

Accepted Answer

Yes: It's fine now, but you should try to avoid laying flat on your back after about 20 weeks.

Accepted Answer

Nothing to do: The placenta has is already developing in the implantation location and will rise with the uterus wherever that location is. There is nothing else you can do to change that process.

Morning sickness: May last all day !
Try to figure out your triggers and then avoid them. For most women, it gets better around 14 weeks. Good luck.

What did your OB doc: Say /s like this should be directed to you OB doc , everyone shows differnet depending on your ht, wt and how many pregnancies you have had, if this is yoru first one you may not show until 15-20 weeks.
