i have been taking 200 mcg of b6 and 1000 mcg of b12 on a daily basis for some time now. is this safe/beneficial to do along with a multivitamin?

Why take pills?: Why take pills surrounded by a sheath when you can get the vitamins naturally surrounded by other vitamins, enzymes, co-enzymes, precursors, activators, antioxidants and other synergistic nutrients? Yes it is safe: But my question is why you are taking these doses.  Raising the serum level  does not really matter at all.  It is the intracellular level that matters and we cannot measure that.  It is your overall health that decides the issue.

If there was: A documented deficiency, i would like to see the level definitely above 400.  The higher dose is probably better for now.

got labs drawn. cbc, cmp both all normal ranges. b12 high 1356 (range 232-1245) i take 1000 mcg sublingual daily. should i stop?  would this cause this elevation?

Reduce dose: The B12 is not real high so should not be a problem however you can just cut it in half

gum bleeding was gone with 7- b12 inj 500 mcg daily.after the loading dose,it started again.taking sublingual.but does not help? cause of gum bleding?
