Yes: Fiber is not digestible by humans. That means that sometimes it is digested by intestinal bacterial and can cause gas, cramps, bloating, diarrhea, nausea, etc. So, if it happens regularly then you would be wise to either eat less of the bran or switch to something more digestible.

Yes.: Some people are more sensitive to fiber than others and some people have bacteria that love fiber causing gas, bloating, and loose stools. The nausea does not fit. Try stopping it to see if it goes away.
