Saliva cortisol

Saliva cortisol

Share

Link copied

Blood cortisol is used to help diagnose adrenal insufficiency and addison disease, conditions in which the adrenal glands do not function properly. Salivary cortisol testing is a suitable alternative to serum cortisol. Cortisol output by your adrenal glands is one of the most reliable indicators of your adrenal function and how well your body is dealing with stress.
