Tender glands

In 2011 had decay on molar under crown so root canal/crown. Now tender submand gland + 4 gum on that side, tooth sore after grinding. Whom do I see?

My child has a tender swollen gland in her neck on the right side. She does have a slight runny nose and and had a mild cold about two weeks ago. Is the swollen gland something to be concerned about? Which medication can I give to treat it at home?
