Sunken soft spot on top of head
Soft spot on head is sunken is a symptom in which the soft spot (fontanels) on top of a baby's head is less firm than usual, and is moderately sunken below the scalp. Sunken fontanels can be seen in babies with dehydration. A normal soft spot is slightly "sunken" below the level of the surrounding scalp.
