In deference to old myths, this is not a site of great vulnerability in infants. If you did not slice through the skin layer it won't hurt the kid.

The child will recover from this minor injury. If you see redness or pus at the site, apply triple antibiotic cream.

As long as there was no bleeding and you had no cuts on your hand, than no concern. Put some antiseptic cream or lotion on spot, or just clean off with warm water.
