Short sightedness
Short-sightedness is a symptom in which a person is nearsighted (myopia), and can see clearly only things that are close to him. Objects farther away are blurry. Nearsightedness is correctable with glasses, contact lenses, or laser surgery. Short-sightedness can also refer to a personality trait (a person who does not see the long-term effects of actions or events) that has nothing to do with myopia.
