A member asked:

How can i get myopia (short sighted)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Inheritance: Myopia is a developmental condition of the eyes which can show up at birth but most commonly occurs during growth in the late childhood years through the early twenties. Many are working on the cause which is still unknown. At your age of 34 you have already developed it but will not get it if you do not have it now.
