Red rimmed eyes
Red-rimmed eyes is a symptom in which a person has redness of the eyelids, giving the appearance of red color around the eyes. Inflammation of the lids (redness, irritated skin, puffiness) can be due to mild infections in the glands at near the eyelashes (a condition called blepharitis), due to styes (an infection in a gland a bit deeper into the eyelid), due to allergies to make-up, etc.
