Ultrasound of gall bladder function with CCK

Ultrasound of gall bladder function with CCK

Share

This test uses a drug tagged with a small dose of radiotracer (tc-99m), injected into your vein. Once the gallbladder is seen on a special camera, then cck, or cholecystokinin is infused into your vein. This causes the gallbladder to contract. Using the camera and a computer system, the radiologist then measures how efficiently your gallbladder contracts.
