Tympanometry
Test of ear status such as pressure of area behind ear drum, presence of fluid behind ear drum, or the presence of a hole in ear drum. A tone is emitted then measured as it is reflected off ear drum. The curve that this reflected tone produces shows characteristics to help in diagnosis.. Other details such as the general stiffness of hearing bones can be deciphered.
