Pregnancy ultrasound
Ultrasound had allowed the visualization of internal structures of the body in a non-invasive manner. Ultrasound therefore is a good tool for the evaluation of pregnancies. Pregnancy ultrasound can be performed in all phases of pregnancy. Early ones are mainly used for confirmation of the pregnancy as well as confirming dates. Later ones can identify problems in the organ systems of the baby.
