Hip arthroscopy
Allows one with an arthroscope and instrumentation to examine the central, peripheral and peritrochanteric compartments of the hip. The labrum in the hip joint can be assessed along with surrounding articular cartilage; impingement lesions such as the pincer and/or cam can be addressed and the hip abductors (glutes) can be assessed. Synovial disease, loose bodies can be taken care of as well.
