See below: I'm not certain how common it is as a result of hip arthroscopy, but there is a fair chance it will resolve, especially if it occurred recently. Your surgeon may prescribe NSAIDS (like ibuprofen and Aleve)or corticosteroid injections reduce any swelling pressing on the posterior tibial nerve.
