Infectious mononucleosis
Infectious mononucleosis is an infectious illness caused by a virus, called Ebstein Barr virus. Symptoms include fever, fatigue, sore throat, enlarged lymph nodes, and enlarged spleen. It is spread via saliva, hence its name the "kissing disease."
