Tarsal tunnel syndrome
Usually of the posterior tibial nerve, as the lacinate ligament compresses it against the ankle bone. It's associated with excessive pronation and folks with flat feet. Treatment involves correcting pronation with an orthotic, injections to rest the nerve, antiinflammatories and if all else fails, surgery to release the ligament from the nerve.
