Foot and ankle injuries
A foot and ankle injury is a condition in which a person has a bruise, sprain, cut, or fracture in his foot and/or ankle. Fractures can be just cracks in a bone, or they can be displaced fractures, with the broken ends out of place. Bruises appear with swelling, pain, and redness. Sprains occur in a joint that has been moved too far in any direction.
