A member asked:

Can taking adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) while on birth control pills increase the risk or cause blood clots?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yas/ yasmin (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol): On sep, 6, 2013: 7, 405 people reported to have side effects when taking adderall. Among them, 105 people (1.42%) have blood clot in the legs. ( remember, this is of the total reports, not 1.42% of the total people. On adderall. Of these, the largest number were on yas or yasmin, (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) but not on any other birth control pills.
