Amphetamines: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is an Amphetamine, which is related to Adrenalin in it's actions. Adrenalin is the Fight or Flight hormone. Adrenalin speeds up the heart, raises blood pressure, dilates the pupils, increases sweating and breathing rates. Amphetamines do the same thing. Many adults are mistakenly diagnosed and prescribed stimulants like Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine), which have many potentially dangerous side effects.
