No correct time: Bleeding in the poop is always a warning sign. Most conditions with bright red blood, usually on the surface, are benign but uncomfortable and sometimes scary such as fissures, and hemorrhoids. Blood can occur when there is lower bowel inflammation and rarely tumors. If there is consistent blood in or on your poop, you should see your family doctor for analysis.
