You : You may be constipated. Constipated stool is usually hard and dry. It can be a large formed stool or little balls of feces. If can be more difficult to defecate if you are constipated. Constipation and hemorrhoids are common causes for bleeding. Even a few drops of blood in the toilet discolors the water and can make it appear as if there is a lot of blood. I recommend that you contact your doctor, so that he or she can determine if that is the cause of your bleeding. In the meantime, drink at least 8 — 8 ounces glasses of water per day; get fiber in the form of fruits and vegetables and stay physically active (if you are up to that). Good luck.
