Cramping pain: The are different reasons for cramping pain - such as normal period, bladder spasms, colon spasms. To sort it all out, you should see your doc and have him look into that with more detail.

Ovulation: You are showing some of the signs that confirm ovulation such as the abdominal discomfort that goes along with this for you. If your cycles are regular, you should have sex now if you are trying to conceive. If the pain persists over the next several days, it may be unrelated to ovulation and you be evaluated by your doctor.
