What is physiological ed?

ED Causes: Erectile dysfunction(ed) effects men at varying times, degrees and ages. Many diseases can result in ed(diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, blood vessel blockage). Smoking worsens these problems. These are physiologic causes. Thyroid dysfunction, low testosterone and liver problems are rarer causes. Testing, including cardiac where needed, can determine why.

Physiological Ed: Generally refers to the physical causes of ed as opposed to the psychological causes. Most of the time ed has physical causes especially in men over 40. Arterio-venous insufficiency is usually the main cause and stems from arterial disease of aging. Medical conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, endocrine and certain lifestyle issues like heavy tobacco use can all cause this type of ed.
