A history of blood clots. Increased pressure in the abdomen constipation, tight clothes. Note that birth control pills is on your list. Pregnancy also causes spider and varicose veins.

Other causes include pregnancies, sun exposure, injuries, and frequently, leaking (refilling) valves of the saphenous system. There are no natural remedies that work long term (horse chestnut, encin, diosmin, blueberries). You should see a vein specialist for a full venous evaluation including a venous reflux exam.
