What symptoms would a person have to have in order for a doctor to tell they have had chlamydia for a long time?

Can be asymptomatic: You can have chlamydial infection in the absence of any symptoms. This can easily be tested for by your doctor. If you think you may have gotten a std you should also be tested for many other illnesses. If just worried about getting pregnant see an infertility expert and get evaluated.
