I went to er for testicle pain. was diagnosed with hydrocele. dr prescribed me z-pack. will this help? if so, is taking three z-packs ok? how long?

No: Antibiotics will treat infection but will not make a hydrocele go away. I suspect your doctor felt you had a component of infection such as epididymitis, and that is why you were given antibiotics. The duration of antibiotic therapy is best determined by the doctor who actually examines you.
