Fair: Pregnancy happens approximately 20% of the time a young healthy man and woman have unprotected sex. It may be more or less likely depending on your individual health situation. Good luck!

About 25%: The fecundity rate (chances a couple can get pregnant on their first try) is approximately 25%. This is why we do not diagnose a patient with infertility unless they have gone 12 full months of unprotected intercourse. First day of bleeding is day 1 of cycle. Try having intercourse on days 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16. This way, you can assure sperms will be present before, during and after ovulation.

Depends on age: Fertility is a "team sport" and both partners affect success. Natural fertility is 15-20% in young people (ave = 20%). About 10-13% of couples are not pregnant after 12 months = 15-20%/month. If older then fertility drops considerably to as low as <=1% by age 44. If 35+ then then get help after 6 months.
