Herpes: There is too many conflicting questions here. What is the real question? Oral herpes is not genital herpes 99% of the time. If you do not have immunity from a previous exposure to herpes you can get herpes where ever you are exposed to it. That is why we no longer use the terms 'oral' and 'genital'. As mentioned over and over here all sexually active adults need a blood test to check herpes.
