Take a test : Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.

Try the test: You may not be ovulating, but no symptom or description of your period is helpful without knowing the results of a urine pregnancy test.

When you get a Depo shot it suppresses ovulation. This means that it stops your ovaries from releasing eggs. This effect can last well after the last Depo shot - though if you are counting on it to prevent pregnancy, be sure to get your shot every 12 weeks! On the average, after the last Depo shot, about 50% of women will get pregnant within 10 months. It may take longer if you are overweight.
