Dr. Eric Wang answered

Preferrably nowhere: As a radiologist, i was pressured into doing a percutaneous ultrasound-guided biopsy of the testis. It was unsuccessful. I asked three of my interventional radiologist colleages about it, and none of them had ever successfully done one. It is generally not performed, and the one i attempted was a special case.

Sterile environment: Can be done in the office, a clinic, in a hospital outpatient or an operating room setting and by a urologist who would be able to take care of any complication such as bleeding.
