I had a c-section/tubal-ligation and was prescribed percocet at the hospital and after discharge. i breastfeed, did taking percocet harm my baby?

No: Most of the do not breastfeed labels are not based on scientific study--they just don't know, so they say do not take it. If Percocet were toxic to infants via breastfeeding, I believe that we would know about it. So I say no, do not worry. Mothers shooting up heroin may cause their infants to be born addicted, but cause no long-term effects on the baby.
