A 29-year-old female asked:

I want to go off oc pills after 7 years and use condom for birth control. what should i expect? when will i get my first natural period?

Variable: The menstrual periods on oc pills are drug induced so it may take a while for a woman's body to return to normal cycles, sometimes up to six months. Expect potentially heavier periods with more cramping or similar to the periods that a woman was having prior to using oc pills.
