Bile flow blocked: Stool gets its brown color from bile. Bile is produced in the liver and is stored in the gall bladder. It is a digestive enzyme which is dumped into the small intestines. If the pathway for the bile gets blocked then your stool will turn white. This is something that needs to be looked into by your physician.
