How often is a lot?: Defecating two or three times a day is normal on a plant-based diet. Frequency is determined largely by the amount of fiber in your diet. The consistency of your stool is as important as frequency. A couple of good sources for diet information are drmcdougall.Com and nutritionfacts.Org. If you're worried, see a doctor.
