Resistance: ...Is most commonly due to incomplete eradication of a bacterial infection--such as when person on 10 day antibiotic feels better after 4 and stops prematurely. There still are options to treat gonorrhea, but is much more complicated than it used to be. Nope, not true (yet): All gonorrhea can be treated easily with standard antibiotics; there is no such thing as a "superbug" gonorrhea strain that cannot be effectively treated. It is a possible concern for future, but probably not for many years.
