Syphilis eia pos rpr neg and tppa neg 3 times over 45 days. hiv 4th tested for 5 times over 10 months all negative. what is the cause for repeated positive initial syphilis eia? recent high crp 7.2 and neutrophils high 9.4? is hiv pcr needed?

The reasons for occasional false positive syphilis blood test results are unknown. But it is clear that it almost never is due to any other health problem. Your HIV test results are conclusive; don't waste money on PCR or any more HIV tests of any kind.
