A member asked:

How can someone cope with the reality of having had previous sexual partners (therefore having likely acquired hpv) and then embarking on a lifelong relationship with someone who has been abstinent for their whole life?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You realize that if HPV strains were acquired more than two years ago the chances of you transmitting it to the celibate partner approach zero. All people have a history and for most some issues in their younger years were less than perfect. If you obsess over the past you will not have a joyful future. Find a life coach & talk it out.
