A member asked:

If someone has a positive test for throat gonorrhea, but negative for penis and anal, does that mean it's local and not in the sperm?

Yes, that is exactly what it means. However, urethral tests miss a few penile infections, and anal swab tests miss many of them. If you have a partner with these test results, you still should consider yourself exposed, regardless of what kinds of sexual contact you have had with that person; and for sure you need treatment for gonorrhea, without waiting for your own test results. Good luck.
