Never use abbreviations in medicine it can be deadly. STDS may mean sexually transmitted disease screening or plural for STD?? STIS = Sexually Transmitted Infections or plural for STI?? I can tell you when I was looking for a job in Saudi years ago the government stated there were no STDs in Saudi because it was illegal/unethical to have sex outside of marriage. Things must have changed a lot.
