Urine burning in men: Yes. This very likely was or is a sexually transmitted disease. If this goes untreated the bug or bugs can track deeper into your urinary tract and you will still be contagious but symptom free. A good expert in men and stds would treat you even if the testing is negative. There are too many false 'negatives'.
