If you are getting general anesthesia, you will have a tube down your throat and into your airways during the procedure, when you are asleep. The tube will be removed prior to when you wake up so you may have a mild sore throat afterwards but you won’t remember the tube. If you are not having general anesthesia, then chances are there will be no tube in your throat. Best of luck to you!!
