Cancer just isn't very frequent due to HPV, even with the highest risk HPV types. No particular type of person gets cancer from HPV; it happens randomly. That's why Pap smears are important: having paps at recommended intervals will prevent cancer by detecting pre-cancerous changes before they progress to cancer itself and are easily treated. Discuss with your gynecologist.
