Taking an antibiotic can decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills . However if your partner did not have a full ejaculation then risk is less . Certainly get a pregnancy test if your cycle is delayed

I agree with Dr Geary, however, would add that going forward, you should use a condom, while on the antibiotic. As already stated, it can decrease the effectiveness of the birth control pill. If you don’t want to get pregnant, it’s not worth the risk of counting on withdrawal.
